What is the Coolsculpting technique in non-invasive fat removal?

Would you be interested in being able to reduce fat in certain areas that seem to be resistant to diet and exercise without surgery?  It is now possible to remove excess fat without invasive surgical procedures with an FDA approved device from Zeltiq.  It’s called Coolsculpting and two Harvard dermatologists developed it.   It turns out that fat is exquisitely sensitive to cold. These scientists utilized a technique they call Cryolipolysis, which cools excess fat to a degree that causes cell death of subcutaneous fat tissue without apparent damage to the overlying skin. The procedure is a nonsurgical alternative to liposuction.    The device pulls skin and fat into an applicator between two chill plates.  The fat tissue reacts with an inflammatory response, which results in apoptosis, also known as cell death.  About 25% of the cells in the treated area die, are slowly broken down, and carried away and removed by the liver.    The removal process can take up to three months so results are not immediate.  The best areas for treatment are love handles, abdominals, inner thighs, and that pesky bra fat area.    These areas can be treated 2 or 3 times until you achieve the result you desire.  Side effects are minimal and uncommon.  There is no anesthesia and patients may be slightly uncomfortable with the contact of the cold as the procedure begins.  This sensation usually goes away after the first 10 minutes or so.  After the treatment is completed, patients may immediately return to their normal activities including work and exercise so there is no down time.

Does nonsurgical fat removal with  coolsculting Zeltiq really work?

Coolsculpting is a highly effective tool in Dr. Van Natta’s practice with excellent results in the proper patient population.  The best candidate for Zeltiq is someone who is in generally good shape, but has modest areas of fat they’d like removed. Coolsculpting fat removal with Zeltiq is not an alternative to healthy diet or lifestyle but produces significant improvement in the shape and contour of the body.

When I first started your queositn I rolled my eyes, I mean who cares if the person sitting next to you is fat. Now if it really was as bad as you say then I would care too. I’m afraid saying nothing should not even be an option in this situation. I would have said Excuse me, I need to move there’s not enough room and then I would have gotten up and moved to one of the other available seats. The seat was not big enough for both of you, and you should have said something. You don’t have to be mean, just be honest and say it with a smile. No one should sit and be miserable just to avoid offending another. In all likelihood she didn’t even know that she was on you, somewhat like when they are sitting on the tv remote and don’t even know it (seen it happen with a family member). It’s her choice to be that big, but it’s your choice to sit there and put up with it.Edit;I’m a little curious as to the so easy to judge others answer. I mean really if you were being squashed into the wall with a large woman sitting partly in your lap you would just take it. Just sit there and be uncomfortable because well I don’t want ot judge PUUULEEEEZZZZ
