Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp will co-star in the thriller The Tourist, set for a 2011 release. According to the script, they share shower time.
The upcoming thriller The Tourist (2011)contains at least one scene sure to garner attention before the movie comes out – or even before it’s in the can. The script by Oscar winner Julian Fellowes (Gosford Park) includes a sequence where the characters, set to be played by Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie, share a shower love scene.
In the movie, the Depp character finds that an Interpol agent (Jolie) is using him to bait a criminal from her own past. It’s a remake of a 2005 thriller – this time directed by Alfonso Cuaron, most recently known for the oppressive Children of Men (2006) but also known to get romantic, as with Great Expectations (1998).
Life & Style magazine recently released a script excerpt from The Tourist: “Cara turns abruptly to Frank and presses her body against his. He’s taken by surprise but willingly responds to her advance, wrapping his arms around her back. They exchange a long, passionate kiss.”
It’s obviously still unknown how much nudity the scene will include; director Cuaron may take the “less is more” approach and then shroud that with a bunch of movie shower steam. If he doesn’t, then the occasion may allow the audience to see as much of Jolie as many of us want to.
Jolie is tied to plastic surgery rumors, but not in the areas some may think. Speculation about her includes a possible rhinoplasty, lip augmentation and a tummy tuck after giving birth to twins in 2008.
None of these operations have anything to do with the curves on site during a shower love scene – the stuff we may or may not see in this movie. Whatever we do finally see, though, will apparently be natural.

Jolie? I want to see Johnny’s hot bod! Cuaron has had a lot of nudity in his films, but you wonder how much A-listers like these can be urged to display. With fans’ obviously high expectations for nudity in this, they better show something or people will be disappointed. There’s always the possibility of body doubles.

Oh!come on people!!This is all just made up garbage.Nothing is confirmed. Check out JD’s schedule on IMDB and on his websites.He is seriously booked up for the next 5-7yrs! Not to mention any hard core JD fan would know that this is SO NOT Johnny Depp’s type of movie!!! I am going to have a good laugh when it turns out to be Clive Owen or someone in that shower scene with Angelina,BTW this is so her type of movie, so you are guessing half right.

I so agree with minni, it is not Johnny Depps style, I would be very disappointed if he played in this, I have been a fan of him for many years not based on his looks but his movie choices, I really hope I do not see him in this movie

I am so in agreement with you Minni! Since all that Johnny D does basically is character roles, I find it hard to see him take up this very usual, very showy Hollywood role! He has come so far and is so respected by many for his artistic talents as an incredibly talented actor! I think it’s just a rumor…

I don’t think JD would do a shower scene to the nature that is described either. He is above that. They might imply such a scene but it would be cut. Not that he could not pull it off of course. He can pull off any character, any scene. Angelina, however, I do not support that. I will see it though if he is in it. Not for her but him.

Yikes! I don’t think my husband would even want to see Angelina’s skeletal body! The real question is this: Will she dig her meathooks into Johnny Depp??? She loves breaking up relationships…this would be a coup for her!

Have any of the people that are saying “This is sooo not his type of movie” ever actually seen any of the films he was in prior to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory? The love scene – you are correct there – does not seem like his style, but that doesn’t mean he wouldn’t consider it. Maybe after all of the crazy sh%* he’s been doing for the past 6 or 7 years he wants to do something a little more low key and chill. I wouldn’t be surprised.

I am so disappointed in JD—–This is total out of character—yes maybe he wants to have more VARIETY in his movie selection—but no—-please no nude
love scenes—this from a man who is so devoted to his partner and kids–will he be letting the kiddies see this—I mean Fear and Loathing in Los Vegas was not
a good style—but he claims he is changed since his kids—i just can’t accept this kind of change from him–yes he is human–i know i know—but —GOOD LUCK JD
