Brad Pitt’s fender bender with paparazzi reveals the star has had some work done. Fortunately, the Hollywood hunk wasn’t injured in his accident.
This weekend, Brad Pitt had to radio for help when he lost control of his bike after clipping a parked car. TMZ.com says Pitt was maneuvering his motorcycle through traffic, tried to zip between a parked car and a stopped car, clipped the parked car and his bike fell over.
Much to the delight of Pitt fans everywhere, he was not injured, but since he could not get his bike restarted, the star called part of his security team to come get him.
PerezHilton.com reports, however, that paparazzi pics of Pitt attending to the bike show an equal sign tattooed in the small of his back. Since Angelina Jolie is a big fan of tattoos, and has many herself, there is speculation that she may have influenced his recent interest in being inked.
Since the pair has been together, Pitt has been seen with a tattoo on his left forearm, which depicts Jolie’s character in the movie Tomb Raider, a tattoo on the side of his lower back that is a Sanskrit Buddist blessing for son Maddox, a map of the streets of New Orleans, and now the equal sign on his lower back.
Luckily, he doesn’t have to have them removed to keep working. Movie studios digitally remove tattoos from stars frame by frame. But, for those who really wish they could erase their tattoos, laser tattoo removal is a real-world option.
Laser tattoo removal involves using a specific type of laser light to break up ink particles in a tattoo so the body can break them down and carry them out of the body. The process takes six to eight treatments every six to eight weeks for about 18 months. It works best on tattoos like Brad’s – dark black outlines on medium-light skin.
Lasers can also be used to remove scars, but looks like Brad won’t need it. He wasn’t hurt in the accident.
