Bigger butt cheeks are a rising demand in the United Kingdom, and pop star Mutya Buena has led the way in this new trend. Watch on this week’s Plastic Surgery News.
The United Kindgom’s largest plastic surgery provider, Transform, has some new figures about the demand for a bigger bum. The company is reporting a 200 percent increase in requests for buttock implants since late September.
The high demand began after English pop star Mutya Buena appeared on a London talk show and admitted having surgery that gave her a curvier lower half. Transform representative Penny Langdon says the company is getting many calls and e-mails from young women who want buttock implants to look more like her.
She said the trend shows that today, fewer women have the desire to like super-skinny supermodels and more women are trying to mirror pop stars who have heft in all the right places. Video plays below.
