Lady Gaga has made a career of innovative music and fashion statements. Now, the avant-garde pop diva drops the biggest bombshell of them all, reportedly confirming rumors that she is a hermaphrodite.
Lady Gaga has reportedly confirmed that she is in fact a hermaphrodite, according to Bossip, a popular gossip website. Video from a recent performance at the Glastonbury Festival indicates that the pioneering singer and fashion diva accidentally revealed she has male and female parts when she inadvertently flashed the crowd from stage.
The dance hall diva reportedly said about the subject, “It’s not something that I’m ashamed of, just isn’t something that I go around telling everyone. Yes. I have both male and female genitalia, but I consider myself a female. It’s just a little bit of a penis and really doesn’t interfere much with my life. The reason I haven’t talked about it is that it’s not a big deal to me…I think this is a great opportunity to make other multiple gendered people feel more comfortable with their bodies. I’m sexy, I’m hot…”
If the rumors are true, fans are left to wonder, why hasn’t she had plastic surgery to choose sides? Perhaps because she’s comfortable in her skin. In May, the Poker Face temptress told Rolling Stone, “I think I’m changing what people think is sexy.”
A hermaphrodite, by definition, is an organism born with both male and female sexual organs. Scientific data shows that as many as 1 in 2,000 children are diagnosed with ambiguous external genitalia, of whom a small percentage undergo “sex reassignment” surgery in infancy.
So why didn’t Gaga’s parents decide on gender reassignment for her as a small child, making her fully female? The answer remains a mystery. And the whole thing, some media outlets say, is one big publicity stunt by a celebrity who knows how to dominate the spotlight.
Whether or not rumors are true, Lady Gaga isn’t the only famous “female” who has faced he/she gossip. Jamie Lee Curtis, Marlene Dietrich, Greta Garbo, and Mae West each endured similar rumors. At least the Just Dance damsel is in good company. It will certainly be interesting to hear more on this new discovery, and to learn more about her ideas on correcting chromosomal confusion.

hermaphrodite have both a vagina and a penis in human beings this is impossible so You could safely say with 100% reliability NO. Do I think she has a penis no I watch her videos thats impossible with scant close she wears. Do I think she did have a penis and got a operation no I think she is 100% female. Maybe because it’s wrong? Or perhaps it was because of the fact that genital reassignment surgery often leaves the intersexed (yes, INTERSEX–never hermaphrodite) individual’s nerve endings dead and are unable to experience sexual pleasure.

I just wanna clear up all the rumors now… I know she is a hermaphrodite because I slept with her. We had a fling back in 03′ before she got famous and her weiner was totally bigger than mine. Although it did have some gross puss growing off it. Come to think of it I saw her the other day and when I asked her how’s it hangin she said swingin past my knees so I think thats a clear indication.

There is a lot of confusion & ignorance re the Intersex issue w/Lady GaGa To people who don’t believe this rare condition is a reality; I suggest that they do some
research. Yes, a small percentage of people are born w/both sets of genitals. In many this condition involves very small, microscopic organs that are internal and can only be seen by using sophisticated radiology/imaging techniques.
The Discovery channel recently had some documentaries about “intersex” conditions. So did the Learning Channel. I became interested in this condition, in adolescence
when I learned my best friend, a very pretty girl, learned she had no birth canal,
womb or tubes. I recall she had one blue/1 green eye and this may also be a sympton of the genetic condition that is involved in Intersexuality. She finally went to Dr. at age 17 because she was not getting her period. She was devestated.
I was also pretty freaked out. There was nothing in her outer appearance to suggest a freakish condition but there it was. There are many different varities
of Intersex conditions. Some people have more extreme symptoms, like both sets
of M/F organs.
From what i’VE READ ONLINE, lADY Gaga had previously admitted in an interview that she had both sets of organs. The picture I saw seemed to confirm it. Her mgr now denies it; but perhaps he did not know about her previous admission to press re
her Intersex condition. I don’t think being Intersexed will have negative effect
on this entertainer. She has a huge following in Gay-Lesbian-Trans-sexual community. These people are very tolerant and welcoming to Intersexuals as well.
I’d recommend to those interested to go online to Discovery-Health channel or the Learning Channel and research this fascinating condition. We need to just accept it and move beyond. Many parents do have their infants surgically altered at birth, but there have been serious problems with this. Not all infants with this
disorder have surgery, but rather wait/see how they mature, and which sex, if any, they prefer to be.
I wish Lady GaGa luck, and hope she will be honest and address this condition truthfully.

To the mike Guy up at the top that says it is impossible. think again. My aunt who is no longer living had both male and female parts. It has been a known thing in my family for such to happen. I have a cousin who had informalities of her vagina…being she was born with a pee hole just nothing else. It is a normal thing, Just a small birth defect. I’m sure if you do research in your family tree you will find that people in your family in fact had the same thing. Just some people are more ashamed and don’t go sharing that information with everyone.

i dont see anything wrong with lady gaga wanting to keep both of the body psrts she has. If she feels confortable in her body then that should be all that matters then. because i think that she is very pretty just the way she is. an she is anamazing singer. so people should just leave her alone and let her do her thing her on way

Whatever gender she is, she is hugely talented. She has pushed the envelope in style and theatricality and she has a terriffic voice. Kudos to her for accepting her body if she is a hermaphrodite….Kudos to her also if she isn’t for making rumors work for her by increasing interest in her…. She is above all, an amazing entertainer….
