Permanent Fix for Inverted Nipples
There’s good news for women who are self conscious about their inverted nipples.
Doctors Philip Torina and Adam Kolker recently published the results of a new surgical technique designed to permanently correct inverted nipples.
Most techniques currently used today have a high rate of collapsing, which means the nipple goes flat.
The new surgical method proved exceedingly successful, with no cases of infection, blockages in the
arteries of the nipple, or collapse.
The study reported that recurrences of inversion were corrected very simply under local anesthesia.
The study findings appear in the May issue of the Annals of Plastic Surgery.
