Plastic Surgery: Game On!

In more TV programming news: game shows are the ultimate quick bite of reality TV, and now E! Entertainment Television network producers have cashed in on the popularity of game shows as well as fascination with plastic surgery.

The network recently aired the pilot episode of a new game show, FAKE OR REAL, that is a lot like the Emmy-award winning program “What’s My Line” that was popular in the 1950s & 60s. On the long-running hit, three contestants would each claim to have the same unusual occupation, and it was up to a celebrity panel of judges to ask questions and figure out who was telling the truth.

In the new game show on E!, three contestants show off their exquisite features… and the celebrity panel tries to guess who came by their beauty naturally, and who had the help of a skillful surgeon.

The celebrity panel for the pilot episode included comedienne Debra Skelton of MadTV fame, actress Katie Cleary — best known for holding briefcase #11 on Deal or No Deal — and Dr. 90210’s Dr. Robert Rey — who ironically is NOT a board certified plastic surgeon.

If this show fascinates you, you can apply to be a contestant by submitting three recent pictures. And if you’ve had multiple plastic surgeries, all the better.
