‘Dancing With The Stars’ Melissa Joan Hart Was Nervous On Show

Dancing With The Stars contestant Melissa Joan Hart got more nervous than expected when appearing on the show, but that didn’t stop her from staying the course.

MJHMelissa Joan Hart, formerly a teenage witch they called Sabrina – and a know-it-all named Clarissa – had stage fright when gearing up for the Dancing With The Stars stage. She and partner Mark Ballas waltzed to no avail, but were finally eliminated after scores didn’t hit the winning level.

“I was a lot more nervous than I ever expected to be. But it’s a hard thing to get out here and do every week,” she said on the October 27 episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live. “I had quite a fever yesterday before I went out there and waltzed,” she later told Jimmy Kimmel, explaining that Ballas had given her the flu.

“My partner took all the pity,” she replied.  “I had to go out and suck it up.”

Hart was in fine form during her Stars appearance – and had to be, since this kind of dancing won’t suit the lead-footed. But, she recently finished losing a reported 43 pounds after giving birth to her second son, Braydon.

MakeMeHeal.com featured this and other details in a story about her, including the report that her weight loss took 14 months. Based on that, the story said, it’s fair to suppose she lost her pounds through exercise, or dieting, or both, rather than plastic surgery.

The story even includes an answer from Hart herself, saying she had help from a nutritionist and a trainer. And, when asked for a comment, several plastic surgeons conceded she likely trimmed down through plain effort.

“Due to her young age, I would guess that Melissa Joan Hart probably lost the weight naturally,” Dr. Paul Nassif said. “She looks great. Cheers to her.”

Dr. Sherrell J. Aston added, “I do not think that Melissa Joan Hart had any plastic surgery procedures to achieve her post-baby body. It looks to me like she did it through diet and exercise. I would advise her continue with the balanced diet and daily workouts. In addition to her routine, I would add a breast lift in the future.”

Aston’s advice would put the dancing actress under the knife, but TV and pictures alike show that Hart already has what she needs, in all the right places.
