Angelina Jolie is Beaming: Is it Brad Pitt’s Inglourious Success, or a Face Lift?

Angelina Jolie and Inglourious Basterds beau Brad Pitt have a lot to smile about after the film’s profitable turn at the box office, but recent photos reveal suspicious looking scars behind Angie’s ears. Are these the tell-tale signs of a face lift?

Inglourious Basterds recent release made a killing at the box office, raking in more than $37.6 million in ticket sales opening weekend. The latest concoction from director Quentin Tarantino features Hollywood hunk Brad Pitt as the leader of a group of Jewish-American soldiers aptly named “The Basterds.”  Their mission: spread fear through the Third Reich by any means necessary.

BoxOfficeMojo.com editor Brandon Gray posted on his blog, “It’s a new high for director Quentin Tarantino and one of the highest-grossing openings ever for a World War II movie. Only Pearl Harbor had a higher opening,” with $59.1 million.

After the monumental achievement of this weekend’s release, Brad and his life partner Angelina Jolie are back in the spotlight – but is the light revealing too much? Recent photos show Angie with faint lines behind each ear indicative of a face lift. But at 33, is she really face lift material? There has certainly been speculation about Jolie having a rhinoplasty in the past, and some even go so far as to question whether she had cheek or chin implants. Is a face lift just another checkmark on her list of plastic surgery procedures?

In an interview with MakeMeHeal.com, Dr. David Shafer dismisses what some are calling the obvious signs of a face lift, saying, “Pictures of Angelina Jolie’s ‘scars’ behind her ears are not necessarily from a face lift.  The same incision is used for people with prominent ear to perform otoplasty (pinning back the ear) to put them in a more natural position.  At her age, I think that this is more likely than a face lift.”

Media insiders have suggested that Angelina may have had an otoplasty following her partner’s possible plunge into plastic surgery, as Mr. Pitt is also rumored to have undergone an ear-pinning procedure.  Plastic surgery aside, this Hollywood power couple knows how to turn heads at every occasion.
