Beanie Sigel disses Jay-Z after his world series performance with Alicia Keys, and says his ‘Average Cat’ lyrics address a beef with the Roc-a-Fella founder.
The same day Jay-Z and Alicia Keys wowed World Series audiences with urban NYC tribute “Empire State of Mind,” one of Jay-Z’s protégés spoke to Hot 97 about some ostentatious lyrics in the song.
Jabs at Jay-Z include: “How it feel to get exposed? Don’t you feel naked?/ I was a fly on the wall, sh– I witnessed/ I can say sh– that will make B look at you different,” and “I’m a grown-a** man, I don’t sit on n—as’ laps/ I ain’t looking for no gifts out of Santa Claus’ sack.”
However, the rapper told Hot 97 that it doesn’t mean there’s a permanent riff in their relationship. “This ain’t the green light for everybody to start making diss Jay-Z records,” he told the station. “This is just me taking my brother out in the yard for 5 minutes.”
Jay-Z is subject to many celeb sites’ plastic surgery rumors, along with wife Beyonce. The sites claim that the rapper had surgery to reduce the size of his lips, and some also allege that he may have had a nose job. The same claims are made about Beyonce, including that she had lip reduction, a nose job and breast augmentation. Neither star has ever confirmed having had surgery.
Beans’ last official Roc-A-Fella release, The Solution, came out in December 2007.
