Personality, delivery, draw — have you got it all? The Plastic Surgery Channel is looking for a Celebrity News Reporter…could it be you? Join our Celebrity News Challenge, and you could win a recurring spot on our weekly newscast!
The Plastic Surgery Channel is looking for a talented on-camera dynamo to be our next Celebrity News Reporter! We know the right person is out there, and we’ve created an exciting online competition to find the winner.
The Celebrity News Reporter will be a featured correspondent on Plastic Surgery News, a weekly online newscast covering the latest developments in the field of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, from new research findings to societal trends, legal cases, and innovative treatment options. Your beat? Manhattan, Hollywood, London — anywhere celebrities are generating buzz because they might have gone under the knife (or have some choice words for others who did).
Contestants will be judged by our panel of rock star plastic surgeons and the public. (That includes your friends — so get them to vote for you!)
Throughout the contest, The Plastic Surgery Channel will launch a fresh batch of contestant submissions each week. The judges will review the viewership and comments for the submissions and select up to three contestants to move on to the next round. For the month of December, the finalists will go head to head in a series of video challenges. Final voting in the contest will take place from December 25 – December 31, 2009 and our winning Celebrity News Reporter will be announced on New Year’s Day!
Think you’ve got what it takes? Then here’s your first assignment…
Challenge 1: Post a video of yourself delivering a 60-90 second celebrity plastic surgery news story on YouTube. The story must be legit — not just something you made up. When your segment is live, send us a link, along with the transcript, a list of sources and a 250-word bio that tells us who you are, and why you should be our next Celebrity News Reporter!
The deadline for entry is midnight CST on October 30, 2009. The first batch of celebrity news reports goes live on the channel November 1st, and the public voting begins!
Could this be your best gig yet? You bet!
Send the link to your video to contest [at] theplasticsurgerychannel [dot] com. You could be the next Internet superstar!
