Christina Hendricks Photos Spotlight Intimate Wedding

Christina Hendricks photos with new groom Geoffrey Arend show the Mad Men star dressed to the nines for their New York wedding on October 11.

Christina Hendricks WeddingChristina Hendricks, co-star of the hit drama Mad Men, shared nuptials in New York’s Il Buco restaurant with actor Geoffrey Arend on October 11. The wedding came after an engagement that was announced in late 2008.

“He’s considerate, he’s thoughtful, he’s smart, he takes care of me,” the Daily Mail cited Hendricks, 34, as saying about fiancé Arend in July 2009. “He’s very, very giving.”

Hendricks looked regal during the ceremony, sporting an ivory white Carolina Herrera gown, though the event itself was relatively low-key.

“We really wanted it to be filled with our absolute best friends and our family,” Hendricks explained earlier in 2009, discussing wedding plans. “We didn’t want to spread ourselves too thin and we really wanted it to have a warm environment, so we kept it with the tightest people.”

In photos – including some from her wedding – Hendricks shows a very prominent bust. In 2008, as Mad Men was really hitting its stride, the agreeably curvy actress was the focus of speculation that she’d had breast augmentation.

“I believe she may have enhanced her breasts, given that she has a few characteristics of someone with implants,” plastic surgeon Dr. Jennifer Walden told MakeMeHeal.com. “For example, when she wears a dress with a push-up bra or bustier in it, there is a distinct border between the breast and the chest wall – that delineation, or “shelf”-like appearance, generally occurs in women with implants.”

Hendricks hasn’t discussed the cause of her curves. But, be it by plastic surgery or nature’s way, Hendricks remains easy on the eyes, on her show and in public. New hubby Arend would agree: He was lucky to land her.
