Gordon Ramsay Takes Simon Cowell’s Plastic Surgery Advice

Gordon Ramsay received, and took, advice from Simon Cowell on fixing some facial wrinkle lines — and you won’t believe the result.

Hell’s Kitchen host Gordon Ramsay is known for not taking flack from anyone. The show is famous for its foul-mouthed, witty host who is quick to criticize and doesn’t take no for an answer.

The Plastic Surgery Channel reported previously that world-class chef took advice from fellow Brit Simon Cowell on using Botox. But now, it seems that the cranky culinary maestro has, in fact, turned to dermal fillers to improve his visage for reality TV.

“My mother said they were smile lines. I could deal with that at 21, but not 42,” Ramsay told the BBC. “Simon Cowell suggested now I’m a success in America, I should do something.”

Ramsay says he had filler put in under the deep lines, a procedure he’ll have to have to endure two to three times a year if he wants to keep his new look.

Ramsay is the second success story — or victim — of Simon Cowell’s cosmetic surgery advice. In 2004, Cowell told X-Factor contestant Katrina Lee that he liked her voice but added, “I wish I could put your voice in another body.” So, Lee embarked on a total body makeover, which included liposuction, facial laser surgery, dental surgery, intense exercise and a new hair color.

Plastic surgery worked out for Lee — the second time she auditioned for X-Factor, she made it on the show.  Hopefully Ramsay will see good results as well.
