Heather Locklear moves back into Melrose Place, 10 years later, to reprise her role as Amanda Woodward. But, how has Locklear kept her face looking so young?
A decade after her departure, Amanda Woodward is moving back in at Melrose Place. Reuters reports that actress Heather Locklear will rejoin the cast to once again play the sultry, scheming ad executive on the prime time soap opera, which now airs on The CW network. The CW has not said how many episodes will feature Locklear’s character.
The remake of the hit ’90s show has suffered in the ratings — falling 21 percent from its premiere of 1.5 million viewers. CW execs are hoping Locklear, and other returning cast members Laura Leighton and Thomas Calabro, will help.
Locklear has been nominated for six Golden Globe Awards, four of which were for her work on Melrose Place. But, her resume doesn’t stop there. The blonde hottie also starred in the 2005 romantic comedy The Perfect Man, and in the sitcom Spin City alongside Michael J. Fox, and she continues to make cameos on various TV shows. All the while, she’s known for looking young and maintaining a hot body throughout her 40s.
So, how does Locklear do it? The actress, who turned 48 this month, was rumored to have had breast augmentation in the ’80s, and more recently has reportedly turned to facial fillers and Botox to maintain a youthful visage.
Dr. David Shafer, a Manhattan plastic surgeon, said some also speculate that Locklear may have even had cheek implants and a facelift. “She appears to have had Botox and fillers. Her neck/jawline also looks improved which may indicate and surgical procedure such as facelift or neck lift,” Shafer told MakeMeHeal.com.
If speculation about her cosmetic treatments is true, Locklear should be the poster child for facial aesthetics, since she still looks fantastic. Fans can catch her debut on the new Melrose Place on November 17.

No. She doesn’t look fantastic. Her upper lip looks rediculous. Doesn’t look sexy at all. It did no good. She destroyed her face with that stupid looking duckbill lip. My God. Some extra boobs and maybe a face lift. But that lip. She blew it. Just another fake like the rest of the hollywood bad lip jobs. Come on Heather. Your a natural beauty. At least get rid of the lip. It looks rediculous. You don’t need blown up lips. They were perfect the way you were born with. You’re kinda of a joke now.

I was HORRIFIED when I saw HL on the previews of the new Melrose Place. I used to idolize her, her character as Amanda, as well as her wholesome, beautiful face. Why IN THE WORLD would she do that to herself?!?!? OMG, she looks like a younger version of Joan Rivers (UGH). Breast Augmentation or lift is one thing but she REALLY screwed up going any farther than that!! Glad someone else noticed that she truly destroyed her natural beauty – a masterpiece. So very sad!! BTW, just saw Jacqueline Smith on the Wendy Williams show….SAME THING…DUCK BILL upper lip. They must all use the same Plastic Surgeon. Hang up the scalpel Doc!! DO these women a favor and quit F-ing them up. Oh wait….you’re much too greedy…

she looks wrinkleless but that doesn’t save her at all her eyes are now small ..and she used to have such beautifull deep eyes now they’re …well gone….her lips look awfull her cheeks look like they’re made of wood… her face seems evil and angry all the time and it doesn’t move at all…..the ponly thing i think she didn’t get is boob implants….they always looked real to me….her body is the only thing that’s hot these days..well hot for her age that is…she ruined her beauty…..but then again she has the kind of face that sags big time with age and her eyes were prematuraly wrinkled even in her early thirties…so god knows how she would’ve looked if it weren’t for plastic surgery

So sad, but Heather looks like a fake wax figure. Celebrities actually look better with age when they just get a face lift…but these awful lip enhancements & cheek implants just make them look like ridiculous freaks!!
