J Lo falls during her performance at the American Music Awards, but why did many viewers not even see the incident — particularly those in later time zones?
Maybe J Lo should lay off the Twitter—after tweeting to Ryan Seacrest and Kim Kardashian on her new Twitter account that she was trying to figure out the service between spending time at in the studio and at American Music Award rehearsals, Jennifer Lopez took a tumble live onstage at the AMAs.
The fall happened as Lopez was walking up the backs of her back-up dancers, who had arranged themselves in a stair-step formation. While holding the hand of another dancer, Lopez climbed to the top of the formation and then jumped down. Instead of landing on her Louboutins, Lopez landed on her rear.
A statement from ABC indicated that Dick Clark Productions, the group that produced the show, edited out the footage voluntarily. “Due to the live nature of the show, we did not expect the impromptu moment in question. Regarding Jennifer Lopez, execs and producers felt it was respectful to Ms. Lopez to edit the mishap for later time zones.”
Does the slip mean J Lo is past her prime? Probably not. Plastic surgeon Dr. Ricardo Rodruiguez says on his site that “Jennifer Lopez has done for the rear end what Pamela Anderson has done for the front end.”
And, a January 2009 survey by the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery agrees, saying “The rear of actress Jennifer Lopez is rated No. 1 by plastic surgeons’ patients seeking to remake their buttocks.”
A source from backstage did say that Jenny from the Block was furious about the mishap—but only at herself. “She walked off the stage absolutely fuming,” an unnamed insider told Fox News. “She was so upset, and ready to kill. Jennifer was a perfectionist about that performance and practiced hard.”

To bad about the slip and fall of beautiful Latina Jennifer Lopez, but that proves that she is still human as we all are and accidents can happen to anyone, famous or not. She is still a major Latina babe and Marc is very blessed to have her. Jenny ranks up there with beautiful Colombian Latinas Ana Lucia-Dominguez, Paola Rey, Sofia Vergara, Catherine Siachoque and Danna Garcia. All of them are a ten on the scale.

I loved Jlo. She proved to be a true champion. As she entered the ring with the Will Smith sample (from the movie “Ali”)”The Champ is Here, The Champ is Here”, to the famous referee from the historic Ali championship bouts shouting “Lets Get Ready To Rumble” She came out swinging, not afraid to take some risk with her high flying leap off of her dancer. In true Muhammad Ali fashion, when she fell down she quickly got right back up and (in my opinion) scored a knock-out. Like I said, the referee said “Let’s get ready to Rumble” and her fall made the statement” When life gets “Rough & Tumble you have
to get “Tough and Rumble”. Jennifer Lopez is Back!!!!!
