Jon and Kate Money Fiasco Takes New Turn

Jon and Kate Gosselin’s money fiasco continues with Jon’s compliance in returning $180,000. But, will this be enough to keep Kate’s bank account afloat?

Jon Gosselin, obeying judge’s orders, appeared in a Pennsylvania courtroom on October 26. He arrived with reports of having returned a missing $180,000 to a joint account he shares with estranged wife Kate Gosselin.

But, Kate wasn’t in court this time – and Jon told Judge Arthur Tilson she would need to explain the account’s currently missing $33,000. Her attorney Cheryl Young, however, was present. She said this absent sum needed no explanation since the Gosselin’s divorce arbitrator considers Kate “fully compliant” and that she doesn’t need to justify using that amount. Another session with the arbitrator is scheduled for November.

This latest link in the Gosselin money chain follows a rumor that Kate planned to appear in an upcoming Playboy centerfold. Another rumor was that she turned a centerfold offer down – an offer attached to a $400,000 fee. Reports later followed that the offer was real but that she ignored it.

Although Kate’s Playboy plan may not come to fruition, MakeMeHeal.com speculated on what kind of cosmetic procedures she would need done before posing in the buff.

Kate Gosselin has already had plastic surgery, and perhaps would see time under the knife these days as a frivolous distraction. But, she spends enough time in the public eye to draw attention to how she looks and how this might change.

“Kate’s current look is the way to go, and as long as she continues in the direction she is going, she will have success,” plastic surgeon Dr. Paul S. Nassif said. “Any changes made to her face at this point would be premature and not be of benefit to her. “

Plastic surgeon Dr. David Shafer concurred. “It looks like Kate Gosselin has already had an abdominoplasty with nice result,” he said. “She does not look like she needs more plastic surgery. Sometimes it is best to leave well enough alone.”
