Josh Duhamel, recently a gossip target regarding an alleged affair with a Georgia stripper, denies the rumors with a released statement. But, the dancer,”Delilah,” has a different story.
Josh Duhamel rigorously denies rumors about an affair with stripper Nicole “Delilah” Forrester – an alleged encounter in Atlanta, Georgia, while he was shooting the upcoming comedy Life As We Know It.
Forrester reportedly sold a story about the dalliance to National Enquirer and said she even passed a polygraph test about it. Actor Duhamel, who married to Stacy “Fergie” Ferguson in January 2009, says it never happened.
“This is not the first, nor will it be the last time, that a stripper was paid a large amount of money to sell a false story about a celebrity,” Duhamel released in a statement through his representative. “This story is absolutely ridiculous.”
Possibly so. But, the stripper said she met Duhamel at her club Tattletales Lounge while he was on location.
Supposedly, among the array of beautiful women – enhanced by nature, plastic surgery or bits of both – Duhamel selected the blonde “Delilah.” He introduced himself as a porn actor named “J.D.” According to the story, they later traded phone numbers, and on October 9, they enjoyed quality time together in his room at the St. Regis hotel.
This fiasco may never have even happened – but even as a rumor, it crafts an odd coincidence. When Duhamel and Ferguson were married, one of their wedding gifts was a stripper pole. Duhamel told Women’s Health he had climbed aboard it more than his wife.
“I’ve played on the pole more than she has,” Duhamel said. “If you know my wife, she’s a perfectionist and won’t get on it until she’s good, so she wants to take a class first. So the pole is really just decorative at this point.”
As Duhamel’s statement pointed out, strippers have been known to get salacious with tabloids in the name of profit. It may all be a rumor. And, the stripper pole in Duhamel’s own home may well be as close as he’s ever been to one.
