Kanye West is all over the entertainment media for his boorish behavior at last weekend’s MTV VMA Awards. But his girlfriend, Amber Rose, is raising a few eyebrows herself.
Kanye West made headlines around the globe this weekend after rushing on stage to swipe the mic from singer Taylor Swift at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards. But West’s boorish behavior isn’t the only thing that has him in the spotlight. His relationship with former stripper Amber Rose is also raising eyebrows in the entertainment media.
Rose is rich and well-maintained – not to mention only 26 years old – but since hitting the scene with the rap superstar, she has garnered attention as much for her unique sense of style and colorful past as for her striking beauty.
With her penchant for skin tight spandex leggings and her bleach-blonde buzz cut, Rose hardly shies away from media attention. But, the former exotic dancer, who began dating West in February 2009, has a history some say is scandalous, while others find it alluring.
“Kanye knew my life, so when it was, ‘Oh, Kanye, do you know she was a stripper and that she used to date girls?’” she told Persona magazine. “He was like, ‘Tell me something I don’t know.’”
Rose has long been in the business of looking good, but it’s hard to tell if she has remained au naturale. Based on her pictures, cosmetic surgery isn’t impossible, and a breast augmentation seems an obvious guess. But, Rose hasn’t talked about it.
“It is hard to tell if Amber Rose has had plastic surgery without older photos,” Manhattan surgeon Dr. David Shafer told MakeMeHeal.com. “Since she is just recently in the limelight, I doubt we will see any older photos. However, I don’t see any incisions or telltale signs of surgical procedures,” he added, after reviewing photos of Rose in a barely-there orange bikini.
Beverly Hills surgeon Dr. Paul Nassif agrees. “At a glance, Amber does not appear to have had any work done,” he told MakeMeHeal.com. “Her curves look natural as do her facial features. She is young and beautiful, and has nothing that is in need of being enhanced.”
