Kim Kardashian recently took some hits after agreeing to be the famous half of a boxing match for charity. She lost, but proceeds benefitted The Dream Foundation.
Kim Kardashian is undeniably a good sport. She lost a charity boxing match on November 3 and walked away with a black eye – but, charity The Dream Foundation got the benefit, and that’s what matters.
“The event itself was absolutely insane!!” Kardashian wrote on her blog. “We literally had three days of training to prepare for the event and thought it would be a little bit of fun to raise money for one of our favorite charities. We didn’t expect what happened.”
What happened? First, Kim’s brother Rob took his turn in the ring and got knocked out by his opponent – a man at least 25 pounds heavier and apparently in the mood to put a Kardashian to sleep. Kim even got into the ring to stop the madness.
“At one point Rob’s mask fell off and when he put his hands down he got hit in the face and ended up in hospital with a concussion,” she wrote. “This guy just got really down and dirty!”
From there, Kim raised fists against a female opponent who defeated her and left bruises. Stepfather and Olympian Bruce Jenner did fight later and win, probably sustaining few marks, if any, to his plastic surgery-freshened mug. Teammates Khloe Kardashian and Scott Disick actually backed out prior to their matches. Overall, the family point count wasn’t too high, but charity remained served.
“You can try to bring the Kardashians down … but we’re a strong family,” she wrote.
