Lindsay Lohan sounds off on her father Michael Lohan after the release of audio documenting her meltdown, and threatens legal action.
A three-minute audiotape of a hysterical Lindsay Lohan screaming,”no one cares about me” has been leaked to the press by none other than her father, Michael Lohan. The two have had a publicly rocky relationship in the past, but this time her father may have crossed the line.
After hearing the recordings released by her dad, Lohan was quick to criticize his character via Twitter claiming, “My fathers such a loser & those recordings are from years ago,” she tweets. “To release personal things is foul enough, but to edit them. I used to think that he needed the book for dummies on learning how to be a father. Haha-he’s needs the book for dummies on HOW TO BE A MAN.”
Michael Lohan went on the defensive, insisting he released the tape of his daughter’s meltdown because “she needs help,” and said he wants to follow in the footsteps of Britney Spears’ father and get a legal conservatorship as an attempt to help the young star.
Shawn Chapman Holley, Lindsay’s attorney, tells E!News the starlet wants to “explore all legal options, including the possibility of filing a criminal complaint against her father.” He explains, “Lindsay’s concerned about recent actions of his…She is concerned about defamatory statements about her own personal safety and has instructed me to explore all legal options available to her to get him to stop and to leave her alone.” It has yet to be determined if she will in fact file for a restraining order.
There has been a lot of speculation about both Lohan’s recent behavior and her changing appearance. While Michael complained to E! that his daughter “looks 100 years old,” it seems the 23-year-old may have taken these comments to heart and turned to plastic surgery to improve her look.
Park Avenue plastic surgeon Dr Robert Schwarcz explains to the New York Post after viewing recent photos of the actress, that her lips look like they “have been plumped with a filler, her chin sticks out slightly more at the tip, which would result from filler or a small implant,” He continues, “Her cheeks are fuller and rounder, either achieved by a filler injected or malar implants.”
Whether her change in look is the result of hard partying, maturity, or plastic surgery, one thing that’s for sure is the relationship between Lindsay and Michael Lohan doesn’t seem like it will be on the mend any time soon.
