Michelle Pfeiffer is Hollywood royalty, and there was a time when her name on the marquee guaranteed a hit. These days, the 51-year-old’s film career may be cooling down, but the star herself has stayed smokin’ hot, thanks to some rumored cosmetic surgeries.
Michelle Pfeiffer is Hollywood royalty. After three Oscar nominations, numerous blockbuster hits, and being the first covergirl for People’s Most Beautiful issue, her success is undeniable. But, as Michelle crossed the magic five-oh last year, some fear her career may be dwindling.
Two of her most recent flicks have gone straight to DVD and her newest project, Cheri, is the target of not-so-hot reviews. Entertainment Daily wrote “Michelle Pfeiffer is radiant, but Cheri fails to shine as a romance.”
Which begs the question: Is turning 50 the kiss of death for stars who are known to large extent for their stunning looks?
If that’s the case, Michelle shouldn’t have much to fear. The sultry blonde celebrated her 51st birthday this April, and looks utterly remarkable for her age. Cosmetic surgery rumors have circulated for some time — including talk that she had a rhinoplasty early in her career, and more recently got cheek implants — although Ms. Pfeiffer has yet to admit she had any work done.
“I don’t have anything against it and I think there is a lot of real pressure on aging women these days. If I look in the mirror one day and I can’t stand it anymore… then I might be there,” she has been quoted as saying.
In 2006, she also opened up to In Style, admitting that she had toyed with the idea of a little nip and tuck. “When I’m rested, I look pretty darn OK. I can hold off on that facelift for another few years. But when I’m feeling weary, then I think, maybe I better make that appointment,” she said. One year later, Pfeiffer she showed up at the premiere of Hairspray without a single crease on her forehead. Hmm, perhaps she made that appointment.
In a report on MakeMeHeal.com, plastic surgeon Dr. John Di Saia speculated, “She’s had a fair amount of facial surgery, but looks nice. I’d guess facelift, eyes, nose plus skin care.”
Like many celebrity cosmetic conundrums, the world may never know. But, fans still find Pfeiffer breathtaking, and hope the Dangerous Liaisons darling can spice up her professional life soon.

You also forget that at that Hairspray premiere Michelle was layered in Make Up. She’s got one of the top of the line best Make Up artists out there. If you see her on a regular day, she is beautiful and stunning, but you can see the lines there up close, just like the rest of us, so be careful spreading lame rumors with nothing to back it up with.
