New Moon star Kristen Stewart has been bombarded with media coverage for her Twilight movies, but can she stop it?
Kristen Stewart is sick of her Twilight mega-star status. The vamp-star told Interview Magazine that the media killed her social life, and that she doesn’t go out because she is already on the cover of every magazine.
But, can she stop the gossip rags from covering her? Probably not.
“First, the biggest lesson is at the age of 19, be appreciative that you have fulfilled your lifelong dream,” celebrity publicist Ronn Torossian of 5W PR told E!Online.com. “You will make millions, and someone other than your parents are taking pictures of you.”
Kristen isn’t the first mega-star to try and stay out of the media, but what are some tricks that other stars have employed?
Staying married to the same person for a while like Sarah Michelle Gellar, cutting back on projects and moving away from L.A. such as Julia Roberts has done, or hiring people to stand around you with umbrellas a la the Jonas brothers. Then there is always the trick Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt once employed: wearing the same clothes so that new pics don’t look new.
One strategy to thwart the paparazzi Stewart may be using is frequently appearing in public wearing no make-up. However, that hasn’t seemed to disappoint her fans as much as prove that this girl hasn’t had anything on her face fixed — and that her beauty is all-natural.
New moon is set to release on November 20.
