The Forgotten: Christian Slater Makes Television Comeback

The Forgotten, a new primetime mystery drama, stars Christian Slater, who is surprisingly bulletproof after the failure of My Own Worst Enemy last season. Will fans take back the actor one more time?

Christian SlaterChristian Slater is set for his television “comeback” in this season’s hot new drama The Forgotten. Produced by CSI:’s Jerry Bruckheimer, the series revolves around a former policeman (Slater), and his team of assorted volunteers. Early reviews have been mixed, but fans of Bruckheimer and Slater are buzzing about the series, which premiered this past week.

Slater seems surprisingly bulletproof following the failure of last year’s NBC drama My Own Worst Enemy. The actor doesn’t look any worse for wear, and in fact, seems to be fighting the ravages of time and Hollywood pressures gracefully. The secret, industry insiders say, is that the Windtalkers leading man is a fan of none other than Mr. Botox.

Dr. Paul S. Nassif told MakeMeHeal.com, “I don’t think that Christian Slater has had any invasive surgery. He may have had forehead Botox, as his forehead is very smooth and his medial eyebrows are low. I think his receding hairline matches his face. He should not have any treatment for lowering his hairline, nor hair transplant surgery.”

Cosmetic surgeon Dr. David Shafer sees thing differently, noting, “Christian looks like he has had too much Botox — his medial brows are down and his lateral brows appear asymmetric. He may benefit from hair transplantation to help his large forehead and receding hairline.”

Whatever the reformed bad boy is doing, it must be working. After being out of the limelight for more than a decade, he’s now back with his second starring role on television in two years. It remains to be seen, however, whether viewers will keep him on the airwaves this time.
