Tiffani Thiessen and husband Brady Smith will welcome their first child next year, and the couple is thrilled about the news.
Tiffani Thiessen and husband Brady Smith are expecting their first child. Thiessen, best known for her work on the original Beverly Hills, 90210, and Saved by the Bell, now stars in the USA drama White Collar.
The couple has been married since 2005. This will be their first child. “We are over the moon!” the couple said in a press release. “It’s something we’ve wanted for a long time and we are thrilled that it’s actually happening.”
In August, the star told OK! magazine that her new role had put baby plans on hold. “We’ve talked about it, but the show started, so we’re going to wait and try to figure out when the best time is. I don’t want to spring a pregnancy on a brand new show that I just got on.”
Thiessen was modeling by age 8, a hit on the Junior Miss America circuit, and one of the squeaky-clean girls on Saved by the Bell. The media speculated that she changed up her image for 90210 with a shorter haircut and breast implants to play vixen Valerie Malone, although Thiessen has never confirmed having implants.
Thiessen is due May 2010.
