Chelsea Clinton and Marc Mezvinsky will marry next summer, after dispelling rumors that they wed last summer. They’ve been acquainted since they were teenagers.
In July, Hillary Clinton denied rumors of daughter Chelsea becoming engaged to Marc Mezvinsky, but it seems rumors are gone and a wedding day is set.
Chelsea Clinton and longtime boyfriend Mezvinsky will marry in Summer 2010, according to ABC News. Mezvinsky, who has known fiance Chelsea since childhood, is the son of former Congress members Ed Mezvinsky and Marjorie Margolies-Mezvinsky.
“We’re sorry for the mass e-mail but we wanted to wish everyone a belated Happy Thanksgiving!” the couple sent in a message. “We also wanted to share that we are engaged! We didn’t get married this past summer despite the stories to the contrary, but we are looking toward next summer and hope you all will be there to celebrate with us. Happy Holidays! Chelsea & Marc.”
The couple lives in New York, where Mezvinsky works for Goldman-Sachs and Chelsea attends graduate school at Columbia University’s School of Public Health.
Plastic surgery may play a factor prior to the ceremony, since many couples – and even surrounding family members – opt for cosmetic work to look their best for the eternal wedding photos. In the case of the Clintons, plastic surgery has seemingly already had a hand in appearances.
MakeMeHeal.com surfaced rumors in 2008 about a rhinoplasty, chin augmentation, a dental overhaul and facial fillers for Chelsea, plus a possible neck lift, face lift, numerous Botox injections and eyelid surgery for Hillary. This really isn’t a case of blind speculation, since many before-and-after pictures readily show facial differences in both women.
Both look prim and prime for their respective ages; mother Hillary is 62 and daughter Chelsea is 29. And, we should expect both to look most optimum on the day Mezvinsky joins the former First Family.
