Christina Hendricks graces the cover of New York Magazine‘s spring fashion issue – and proves that womanly curves never go out of style.
Mad Men star Christina Hendricks’ body stands out in skinny Hollywood — and it seems her voluptuous figure appeals to fashion photographers as well as TV fans. In the wake of a New York Times blogger referring to Hendricks as a “big girl” at this year’s Golden Globe Awards, Hendricks has her comeuppance on the cover of New York Magazine‘s coveted spring fashion issue.
Wearing little more than a white lace corset, the titian-haired temptress is literally busting out all over, fearlessly flaunting her feminine curves. However, the buxom beauty’s appearance has caused many to question whether she has had a breast augmentation to further enhance her hourglass figure.
“I believe she may have enhanced her breasts given that she has a few characteristics of someone with implants,” New York plastic surgeon Dr. Jennifer Walden told MakeMeHeal.com. “For example, when she wears a dress with a push-up bra or bustier in it, there is a distinct border between the breast and the chest wall — that delineation, or ‘shelf’-like appearance generally occurs in women with implants that are being displaced upwards against gravity. The prosthetic makes this border sharper in women who have undergone breast augmentation.”
Although her sex appeal has undoubtedly helped her career, Hendricks doesn’t like all the talk about her body. Like any legitimate thespian, she would rather people focus on her acting ability instead of her looks.
“Anytime someone talks about your figure constantly, you get nervous, you get really self-conscious,” the actress tells New York Magazine. “I was working my butt off on the show, and then all anyone was talking about was my body.”
But, her fans can hardly be held at fault. As long as Hendricks keeps donning lingerie for her cover stories, tongues will be wagging.
