For a brief time, Robert Pattinson may have looked more Lloyd Christmas than Edward Cullen from the Twilight series. His Eclipse co-star Bryce Dallas Howard says the actor chipped a tooth.
Despite prior reports that Pattinson was unhygienic on the set of Eclipse and didn’t bathe very often, the actor says he got injured by being very hygienic.
“He told me this story that made me crack up,βΒ Howard told E!Online. βHe was like, ‘Oh, I have to go to the dentist.’ And I was like, ‘Oh no, what happened? Just a checkup?’ And he was like, ‘No, I chipped a tooth.’ And I was like, ‘How?’ And he was like, ‘Flossing.’”
Previous reports from Twilight saga crew members to E!‘s Ted Casablanca indicated quite the opposite. “He stinks. I mean, it’s awful. He never showers, and it drives people on the set crazy,” a crew member said.
But even if Pattinson does neglect to shower, it’s no wonder he still takes care of his teeth. Reports from a Harris Interactive poll by RealSelf.com showed that if money was no option, the top cosmetic procedure chosen by both men and women is teeth whitening, with tummy tuck and liposuction coming in close behind.
But no worries Twilight fans, Pattinson got right to the dentist and his signature smile is back to normal.
