Geoffrey R. Keyes, M.D., F.A.C.S. — double board certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery and The American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, Dr. Keyes is a renowned international lecturer on safety during surgery. He is also President of the California Society of Plastic Surgeons, President of the Los Angeles Society of Plastic Surgeons, President Elect of the Aesthetic Society Education and Research Foundation, and Secretary Treasurer of American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities. Lou Bucky, M.D., F.A.C.S. — certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Bucky is an Associate Professor of Surgery within the Division of Plastic Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He is past chairman of the Perspectives and Advancements of Plastic Surgery Symposium, a forum sponsored by the Plastic Surgery Education Foundation, and has served as President of the Northeastern Society of Plastic Surgeons. Michael Byrd, health care attorney and member of the Dallas Bar Association, is a Dean’s List graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and graduated Texas Tech Law School.
Byrd is currently chair of the business counsel services practice at SettlePou law firm, and is a member of its commercial litigation practice. His background includes litigation and transactional attorney law. He presently belongs to the boards of Orthopaedic Trauma Research Associates and the LEAP Foundation.
Byrd is also a frequent public speaker, with appearances at the UT Southwestern Medical School Plastic Surgery Department, the annual Dallas City Attorney’s Office continuing legal education seminar and the annual Federal Bar Association continuing legal education seminar.
