Heidi Montag: Addicted to Plastic Surgery

Heidi Montag recently confessed to being “obsessed” with plastic surgery. After enduring a multi-procedure cosmetic-fest in late 2009, she has unveiled her new self on the cover of People magazine.

Heidi Montag recently had a surgical pilgrimage of sorts – undergoing no less than ten plastic surgeries in one day in November 2009. According to People magazine, this was only her second trip ever to the plastic surgeon, yet she squeezed all her desires into one epic visit.

Breast augmentation and rhinoplasty were reason for the occasion her first time around, in April 2007. But this time, Montag, 23, reportedly opted for buttock augmentation, a nose job revision, a mini brow lift, Botox and filler injections, and even larger breast implants.

“For the past three years, I’ve thought about what to have done,” the Hills star explained to People. “I’m beyond obsessed.”

Montag’s issues landed her on People‘s most recent cover. But that “obsessed” comment clears things up even better than the one she made in 2007, when discussing the privacy around her first set of surgeries.

“There was so much negative press came out about it, and people who have either gotten surgery themselves or contemplated it were ragging on me,” she told Us magazine. “This was the right decision, and who’s to judge or tell me otherwise? God’s the only one who can judge me.”

Montag’s current slew of surgeries happen to come on the heels of her debut album, Superficial. This begs for cheap jokes at the reality starlet’s expense – but to be fair, she explained the title.

“I’m competing against the Britney Spearses of the world – and when she was in her prime, it was her sex appeal that sold,” she told People. “Obviously, looks matter; it’s a superficial industry.”

That it is. But in the realm of plastic surgery, there seems to be no competition between Spears and Montag. In that department, Montag’s multiple procedures make her the champion.

She said in another interview something about looking more “European exotic.” What exactly is that? In the US, the melting pot of all races, what is truly exotic? I would not guess that any type of European looks are considered exotic. Maybe she means more alienoid? Just hope she doesn’t transform into Joan Rivers or Jocelyn Wildenstein.

She’s attractive without the alterations, Spencer needs to rein this in if he is any kind of husband/man. And I say this as a female!
