Heidi Montag, currently more famous for her ten-procedure plastic surgery marathon than anything else, showed the results to her mother. Joy did not ensue.
Heidi Montag probably can’t blame her mother for her reaction when Heidi paid a visit after undergoing ten cosmetic procedures in one day. Montag recently told People magazine that her mother, who lives in Crested Butte, Colorado, was anything but pleased at her daughter’s surgical results.
“She was looking at me almost like a zoo animal,” Montag said. “It wasn’t like I was her daughter anymore. She was looking at me like I was a circus freak.”

The 23-year-old, who also had plastic surgery in 2007, has said she wants this cosmetic makeover in order to excel in the world of music. She apparently thinks more than a dozen surgeries before age 25 will do the trick. But during the recent family visit, Montag said, her mother pointed out “how sad it is that my confidence is gone because of the music industry I’m trying to get into.”
It’s hard to say what Heidi Montag has lost in her reach for musical fame. One thing she isn’t short on is plastic – and in the end, she may become more famous for that than anything else.
