Ivana Trump took that approach with marriage – but reportedly even the fourth try hasn’t been successful. RadarOnline.com reports that on December 18, she filed for divorce from businessman husband Rossano Rubicondi after a mere 20 months of marriage. Trump, now 60, simply cited a lack of personal time with her 37-year-old husband, who married her in April 2008 after a six-year courtship.
“It has become increasingly difficult for us to find time together,” Trump recently said in a statement, according to RadarOnline.com.
Ivana Trump was first married to childhood friend George Syrovatka. In 1977, she married Donald Trump, a marriage that lasted until 1992. From there, keeping the last name, she wed Riccardo Mazzucchelli – another marriage that lasted less than two years.
Rumors of this latest divorce have abounded for at least a year. In December 2008, plastic surgery site MakeMeHeal.com mentioned a possible divorce between her and Rubicondi. One of its stories speculated that Ivana Trump regularly undergoes cosmetic nip-tucking to stay sexy for the young men she tends to date and marry.
“Ivana is all about maintaining a youthful look given the age of her boyfriends,” plastic surgeon Dr. Jennifer Walden told MakeMeHeal.com in December 2008. “Cheers to her! She may have undergone a facelift, eyelid lift, and soft tissue fillers to the laugh lines and lips. Botox also can help keep one’s forehead and crow’s feet around the eyes smooth.”
Plastic surgery, so common in her circles, appears to be part of her own lifestyle. It seems to work for her in the dating world of younger men, if not staying married to them.
