Jane Krakowski, currently seen on 30 Rock and winner of a Tony Award, reportedly now has another fancy prize around her finger. Who from?
Following a courtship that’s lasted a year-plus, 30 Rock co-star Jane Krakowski will tie the knot with clothing designer Robert Godley. According to People.com, one of Krakowski’s representatives said the engagement occurred over the 2009 holiday season, though no ceremony date is set.
“She is very, very happy,” the rep purportedly said.
This marriage will make the first for Krakowski, now 41. At this age, she looks agreeably fresh-faced, but there’s apparently no plastic surgery in her past, though it may be in her future. Krakowski also has had little or nothing to say on the subject. However, she’s currently part of an acclaimed show alongside actors who find plenty of humor in the endless celebrity craving for cosmetic improvement.
Her own attitude may very well match her costars’.
“I don’t think Botox is for me,” 30 Rock star Tina Fey, 39, told Harper’s Bazaar in an interview published October 2009. “I think it is bad.”
Fey’s main beef with Botox is the results. “[They] look like their faces are full of candles – a shiny, shiny face,” she said. “Festive. A holiday candle.”
30 Rock star Alec Baldwin told Playboy in late 2009 that at 51, he has come to realize “when you get older, you look older, there’s nothing you can do.” However, he also admitted to Entertainment Weekly during the same period that he will probably have plastic surgery at some point. “Let’s put it this way: I wouldn’t rule it out because You don’t think I wake up every day and wish I looked like this and this and this? But I can’t let that bother me.”
But, he noted that his posterior will remain forever untouched by a plastic surgeon, since it’s perfect as it is. “That’s a part of my body that needs no surgical enhancement or rearranging.”
If Alec Baldwin actually plans to surrender to plastic surgery, then Krakowski must at least be considering it. She hasn’t admitted it yet, though, even in light of her upcoming wedding.
