Throw Away Your Eye Cream!

Throw Away Your Eye Cream!

As non-invasive plastic surgery procedures continue to expand, ultrasound procedures are making a big splash with incredible results. Dr. Richard A. Baxter of Seattle, Washington discusses a new ultrasound device called JeNu that is being marketed to the public to reduce wrinkles and hydrate around the eyes and plump up the lips.

The Power of Ultrasound

If you’re not seeing the results you would like from traditional eye creams and lip plumpers, ultrasound technology you can do at home may be the answer. Try as we might, it’s tough to get rid of crows feet and dryness around the eyes that comes with aging.  Lips are also a delicate area and many women begin to see fine lines forming around the perimeter of  the lips. Researchers and scientists have been studying the benefits of ultrasound technology for years, and now, you can experience ultrasound at home with a product called JeNu.

While various creams exist with active ingredients to reduce wrinkling, their effect is minor. “These products have limited effectiveness because they sit on the skin instead of altering the cells underneath,” says Dr. Baxter. “The skin serves as a barrier to these products, proving that it’s going to take something to push them deeper for real results to occur.” This is where ultrasound technology comes in. “By using both a topical cream and the JeNu ultrasound device, the change occurs when ultrasound, at just the right frequency, pushes the product deeper into the skin,” says Baxter. “This alters the cells beneath the skin, and, as our results have shown, vastly improves problem areas.”

Eliminate Wrinkles, at Home!

While a variety of ultrasound devices are at the disposal of plastic surgeons for in-office procedures, JeNu is also formulated for use by the consumer at home. “The device is small, sits at a convenient price point, and allows consumers to do it themselves in their free time,” says Baxter. “This technology has been designed to be consumer-friendly and entirely non-invasive. Simply applying the topical cream and moving the JeNu device over wrinkle spots around the eyes produces an astounding improvement.” The device has been formulated for use on wrinkles around the eyes, as well as adding volume to the lips. No needles, no injectable material, just a topical cream that is pushed into the skin with a bit of ultrasound.

The results are in…

“After only 2 weeks, we looked at the results and found a 42% reduction in wrinkles and a 92% improvement in hydration,” says Baxter. “We have performed quite a bit of clinical testing to prove the safety and effectiveness of this device; the results strengthen the notion that such devices can prove to be extremely potent in the fight against time when it comes to preserving the face.”
