Jon Gosselin interview on Good Morning America raises ire

Jon Gosselin appeared on Good Morning America and claimed to “despise” almost-ex-wife Kate. If he wanted negative attention job well done.

Jon GosselinJon Gosselin raised ears and eyebrows during a recent sit-down with Good Morning America‘s Chris Cuomo. In discussing his turbulent relationship with soon-to-be ex-wife Kate Gosselin, Jon claimed to “despise” her.

“I can’t sit on the sofa with that woman,” he said, complaining about her tendency to say things to him on their show, Jon and Kate Plus Eight, that he knows she doesn’t mean. Controversy about his comments come amid recent speculation about infidelity, though it’s not certain who has done what.

“I despise [her] because she’s not speaking from the heart,” he told Cuomo. “Please – the stuff you tell me in private should be the stuff you tell me on TV.”

Jon was 20 when he met Kate; they married two years later and began having children a year after that. By the age of 27, Jon Gosselin was the father of eight.

“Bye-bye, twenties,” he said.

Both Jon and Kate have clearly tried to stay wading in the fountain of youth, and recent reports of extensive cosmetic surgery have followed them both. Kate openly admitted to a tummy tuck procedure, which isn’t a surprising request from a mother of eight. MakeMeHeal.com has speculated that she may also have undergone liposuction and a chin implant.

Jon appears to have had less time under the knife, but his plastic surgery escapades are more interesting. Pictures prove he has had hair transplants to fill out some thin spots. But since he is now rumored to be dating 22-year-old Hailey Glassman, daughter of the plastic surgeon who gave Kate her tummy tuck, Jon could possibly get some more work done – and at a sweet discount.
