Kanye West and Lady Gaga’s tour may be canceled, according to one Internet rumor. So, does the report have legs?
A very brief report from MediaTakeout.com says a “reliable source” declared the Kanye West/Lady Gaga concert tour could be canceled as early as Thursday. The site also reports that it’s not Kanye with cold feet it’s Lady Gaga.
As an artist, Lady Gaga has proven she is more than willing to push the envelope. She and Kanye have also raised eyebrows with the video promoting their joint Fame Kills tour featuring a nude woman resembling Lady Gaga held by arms that may or may not be Kanye’s. Besides, during an interview with a Las Vegas radio station, she stated, “he’s a good guy and everybody makes mistakes.” So, the idea that she may pull out of the tour because she disapproves of Kanye’s boarish behavior to the stage at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards is surprising.
Kanye’s rep as a star who misbehaves is building steadily, but some would argue it has been tempered by moments of tenderness. For example, he and his late mother co-founded the Dr. Donda West Foundation (now called the Kanye West Foundation) to help curb the drop-out rate and keep kids in school. And, Kanye had the sympathy of the nation when his mom passed away after a breast reduction and tummy tuck surgery.
Combination procedures, such as a breast operation combined with an abdominoplasty, are popular because there may be less recovery time — and more importantly, less cost — than with two separate surgeries.
As long as the patient is in good health, and the surgeon is board certified in plastic surgery, combination procedures generally can be safe. Apparently, Ms. West’s surgeon, Dr. Jan Adams, didn’t screen her for heart healthiness before proceeding with the operations. She died in 2007 from coronary disease and other health issues soon after her cosmetic surgery. Dr. Adams has since lost his license to practice medicine.
