Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom married September 27 in Los Angeles – a month after meeting at a party. The nuptials went well, all things considered, and attendees looked their best.
Reality TV starlet Khloe Kardashian and Los Angeles Lakers forward Lamar Odom exchanged whirlwind vows in front of 250 guests this weekend. The Beverly Hills nuptial gala – marking the first wedding for both bride and groom – included appearances by Kelly Osbourne, Kobe Bryant, Phil Jackson and Ryan Seacrest along with family and friends.
Cameras on site captured all to see, including maids of honor Kourtney and Kim Kardashian, and Bruce Jenner, Khloe’s stepfather, who marched the Vera Wang-clad bride down the aisle. The evening began with music from a 10-piece orchestra, and ended with a Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds reception solo of “You Are So Beautiful.”
“The reason’s she’s getting married is, first, they want to, and second, Lamar starts camp next week and Khloe has a million things going on,” Bruce Jenner told E! News. “If they’re gonna do it, they want to do it now.”
The wedding party looked stunning, to no surprise, given the Kardashian family embrace of plastic surgery. In recent years, weddings have become a prime reason for brides and grooms – plus members of their families – to undergo cosmetic surgery as a way of looking great on the big day. Mainly, they want to look their best for wedding pictures, which are forever (even if divorce does come along).
But, Kardashian and Odom met only a month ago, and it’s highly likely everyone already had their cosmetic chores wrapped up. Khloe, 25, is confirmed to have undergone laser cellulite treatments, as have sisters Kim, and Kourtney – who recently discussed her breast augmentation.
Bruce Jenner has been a frequent target for the results of his face lift and rhinoplasty, but seems to have settled into a workable look for a man of 60.
Despite the rush of the wedding proceedings, many of the people involved didn’t need to grab plastic surgery to look their best. They’d already had it.
