Risks and Complications

It is also important to remember that while going through the healing stage, one is discouraged from smoking as this decreases blood flow to the skin and tissues as this will increase the risk of poor healing, skin sloughing and scabbing or crusting. Permanent scarring may also occur as a result of smoking.
Considerations
Very few surgeons perform pectoral implant surgery because it is a relatively new procedure that requires a high level of expertise and aesthetic skill. Because male pec implants are solid, it is necessary to shape them before insertion. It is pertinent that your surgeon have the expertise to properly shape the implant so that it appears natural for your body type. It is also critical to find an experienced surgeon who can minimize or eliminate the risk of shifting after the surgery.

I am flat chested and it affects me, quite a lot. I won’t go swimming or outside without a shirt on, and a serious dating relationship is out of the question, since I know that there would come a day, when she would want to see me without my shirt on.
Unfortunately, I simply cannot afford the male pec implants, so I guess I am destined to have a chest like a pre-teen, and no serious love life.
I am not looking to have the male version chest of Dolly Parton, all I want is to be in propertion.
