Mel Gibson fathers his eighth child with girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva. But, are wedding bells ringing in the couple’s future?
Actor Mel Gibson and his Russian girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva, gave birth to a baby girl Friday. It is Gibson’s eighth child and Grigorieva’s second. Each have children from previous partners.
Gibson, 53, made headlines last April when he left his wife Robyn of 28 years for the Russian model and singer. The couple separated in 2006, but Robyn reportedly filed for divorce when she learned that Grigorieva, 39, was pregnant with Gibson’s baby.
Grigorieva, a former lingerie model, is likely to have had a little work done on her face, says plastic surgeon Dr. Sherrell J. Aston. “I sense that she has had plastic surgery to enhance her looks,” Aston tells MakeMeHeal.com. “Her nose is well defined and her profile displays a slight upturn. She might have had a chin implant to balance out the proportions of her face as well. I think her lips look very unnatural and she might have had a permanent implant placed or excessive fillers.”
Gibson has never commented public on having plastic surgery, but he is the target of urban legends on the subject. Snopes.com reports that a chain e-mail credits Gibson as the inspiration for the movie The Man without a Face. The author of the e-mail states that Gibson was the subject of a beating so horrific, he lived in seclusion until plastic surgeons could rebuild his face.
Although Gibson did reportedly audition for his role in Mad Max with some stitches and bruises from a barroom brawl the night before, the story ends there.
Although some blogs say the couple is engaged, Grigorieva told a British TV show in September, “Actually we have no plans to marry whatsoever. I haven’t thought about it – we haven’t spoken about it.”
