Natalie Portman: Plastic Surgery Advocate?

Natalie Portman says aging is a challenge as an actress. The actress recently opened up to V Magazine on aging, nude scenes and plastic surgery.

natalie-portman-picture-1Famous photographer Mario Testino captured Natalie Portman for the cover of V Magazine in rad ’80s makeup and a Rhianna-inspired hairdo.

The star of such movies as Closer and V for Vendetta says aging is hard for actresses in these days of HDTV. “You see people who were stars five years ago and already they’re waning. As actresses approach 40, it starts becoming really, really difficult.”

For now, Portman says, her biggest problem is acne. “If I have a pimple I want to get rid of it,” she told V, but said wrinkles aren’t a problem for her yet.

It’s like Portman hasn’t had work done anywhere else either, as she said nudity is definitely not out of the question when it comes to her film roles, but that it’s the internet makes her think twice about it.

“[O]nline bulls– interferes with what I want to do artistically. I’m not opposed to sexuality or nudity in a film, but I’m very opposed to pornography sites and you’re pretty much giving them material if you do any of that.”
