No Spin Live… Snapchat and Plastic Surgery?

Snapchat is a seemingly addictive social platform where users send out “Snaps”, temporary video or picture messages for their friends and other users to see. As its popularity has grown, professional fields – including plastic surgery – have taken up the platform for new marketing and advertising aims. Some surgeons are even sending snaps from the OR for their patients to see just how some surgery’s might go.

Is this a viable route to help and improve patient care and desires, or just another social media fad that has everyone ready to participate? Board certified plastic surgeons of the PSC discuss Snapchat and what it can and can’t offer to patients and practices.
