PSC Member Spotlight

The PSC Team, Medical Advisory Board and members would like to extend a warm welcome to Stafford Broumand, MD, and James Namnoum, MD.  We look forward to working with them in the future!

Stafford Broumand, MD

Dr. Stafford Broumand is noted as a highly skilled and talented plastic surgeon with a busy practice in the heart of New York City.  He has extensive training in the areas of the face, eyes, breast, and abdominal procedures.  He will be a great asset to our team of surgeons and we look forward to learning from his expertise.

Dr. Broumand attended medical school at Yale University and completed general surgery at Mount Sinai Medical Center. He trained in plastic surgery at the Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School and currently holds a faculty position as Associate Clinical Professor of Plastic Surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital.

Stafford is married with three children ranging in ages from nine to twenty-two years old. His two favorite hobbies are sports and contemporary art.  He’s a dedicated runner (he got up at the crack of dawn on a shoot day in Dallas and ran so far he got a little lost!) and playing golf when he can find the time.  His love of art leads him to frequent museums, fairs and galleries in New York and around the world.

James D. Namnoum, MD

Dr. Jim Namnoum is a renowned expert in cosmetic and reconstructive breast surgery, as well as aesthetic body contouring and facial cosmetic surgery. He has lectured at national and international plastic surgery symposia covering a full gamut of cosmetic and reconstructive procedures of the breasts and body.

A graduate of the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Dr. Namnoum completed his residencies at Johns Hopkins Hospital followed by a fellowship in breast surgery with Carl Hartrampf, M.D., a pioneer in breast reconstruction and co-founder of Atlanta Plastic Surgery.

With his reputation and commitment to technological advancements in plastic and reconstructive surgery, Dr. Namnoum has access to trial many of the industry’s newest technologies.  He is also founder of the Pink Ribbon Story Foundation, a 501(C)(3) non-profit that honors breast cancer survivors and shares their courageous stories to help other breast cancer patients.

His personal life is equally impressive; he’s been married to Anne Namnoum, MD, for 30 years and they have six children ranging in ages between thirteen and twenty-three.  When he’s not at a lacrosse game or attending ballet recitals, you’ll find Jim in the kitchen.  He’s an amateur chef and loves cooking for his family. He stays in shape with his fitness training and an occasional round of golf.
