Shakira Attended UCLA classes between world tours, and dressed like a boy to keep her identity a secret.

Colombian singer Shakira has a different concept of winding down between recording albums or world concert tours – she likes to don disguises and take classes.

Rumors have been confirmed that after wrapping up her Oral Fixation tour in 2007, Shakira took classes incognito at UCLA. Even her professor didn’t realize she was a world-famous pop icon.

“She told me she was visiting from Colombia and that she was just doing this for her own enlightenment and enjoyment,” Robert Cleve told the Associated Press “She looked like just an ordinary student. She wasn’t flamboyantshe didn’t act like a big celebrity or anything.”

Some have speculated Shakira may have had plastic surgery such as a nose job. Although Shakira admits to considering surgical enhancements, the star says she has not indulged thus far. “So many things going on in the world and yet some invent stories about me getting a nose job!” she posted on her Twitter homepage a few days ago.

So, if not surgery, how did she pull off not getting recognized? By attending class in the same attire most hungover college girls do, apparently. “I used to wear a cap and a big backpack,” Shakira told the Associated Press. “I looked like a boy.”
