Stephanie Pratt was arrested early Sunday morning for driving under the influence, but this isn’t the first bad mark on Pratt’s record.
The same day a friend of Stephanie Pratt was killed in a car accident, the reality star was pulled over for driving drunk, and spent six hours in jail. Pratt was released around 10 a.m. on October 18, after posting $5,000 bail.
Pratt, a rising force on MTV’s The Hills, was out celebrating the 26th birthday of her sister-in-law, Holly Montag.
Early in the evening, she posted on her Twitter account that she was already tired even before the group hit L.A. hot spot Empire. Later that night, she told crews from E! News, “I’m a party pooper tonight. I got bad news this morning. A friend passed away in a car accident, so everyone needs to drive safe.”
However, when she was pulled over around 4 a.m. Sunday morning after leaving Beso in Hollywood, she had given up party-pooping in favor of partying. Police aren’t saying what Pratt’s blood alcohol level was, but it was enough to hold her until she made bail.
Pratt has a record – in 2006 she was arrested along with Lost director Jack Bender’s daughter for shoplifting $2,000 worth of clothing from Neiman Marcus in Honolulu.
Many bloggers also allege Pratt has lengthy rap sheet at her plastic surgeon’s office. Among her selected upgrades are suspected breast augmentation, a nose job, lip augmentation and even Botox, but Pratt hasn’t commented publicly on having any surgeries.
Hills producers have not commented on the bust – the police bust, that is –being aired in a future episode of The Hills.
