Johnny Depp is 2009′s “Sexiest Man Alive,” if you believe People magazine, and those who do include a large part of the populace. Competition included Robert Pattinson, Ryan Reynolds, David Beckham and Bradley Cooper – and the list even found room for Robert Downey Jr.

But, it’s Depp this year, his second win, and the occasion brings rise to questioning the 46-year-old actor’s plastic surgery habits. No sources show that he’s has ever had any. He looks excellent, but he also looks roundabout his age. In 2007, Dr. Anthony Youn told MakeMeHeal.com that at some point, Depp possibly underwent a threadlift procedure – which is basically facelift-lite – but, it hasn’t been confirmed.

“That procedure has very limited results, so whether or not it was actually done we’ll probably never know for sure,” he said.

Youn added that a lot of celebrities have their best plastic surgery before they actually become famous. They get their most image-changing results at a time when no one yet cares what they look like.

“This is when the surgery usually stays secret,” Youn said. “There will always be something new and better on the horizon, and the stars will likely be the first ones to try it out.”

Of course, Depp has been famous for close to 25 years. It isn’t known if he’s had plastic surgery to keep his good looks for more than two decades. But if so, Depp has kept it secret for an admirably long time.

Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner are co-stars in the new romantic comedy, Valentines Day, due out in February – Valentine’s Day. But, it looks like cupid hit the pretty pair – OK Magazine says the couple is dating off the big screen, too.

A source close to Swift tells the magazine, “She loves how unaffected he is. She says he’s the best kisser ever!”

While a friend of Lautner says, “Whenever he talks about her, he can’t help but smile.” Lautner was also spotted on the first leg of Swift’s ”Fearless” concert tour on October 9 in Chicago, where he sat in the front row, and hugged the singer after her performance.

Both the Taylors are having a successful year so far – Taylor Lautner is gearing up for a frenzy of media attention as New Moon opens November 20. Swift fans are clamoring for tickets to the singer’s “Fearless”tour, which continues through March 2010. Her album of the same name has spent 24 weeks atop Billboard charts.

Plastic surgery rumors have swirled around both Taylors as well, with some claiming Lautner’s abs were too good to be true. But, when the Twilight star revealed he had packed on 30 pounds of pure muscle for New Moon, it was obvious they were real, and not the product of a liposuction technique called ab shaving.

Taylor Swift has also battled claims that her features were the result of rhinoplasty and cheek implants, but there is no evidence to support that it’s anything but good genes.

Valentine’s Day will star many of Hollywood’s big names, including Julia Roberts, Jamie Foxx, Bradley Cooper, Anne Hathaway, Jennifer Garner, Jessica Alba, Patrick Dempsey, Jessica Biel, Emma Roberts, Ashton Kutcher and Topher Grace in addition to the Taylors.

It’s set to release, obviously, on February 14, 2010.

Jennifer Aniston has been linked with The Hangover star Bradley Cooper, and Law Abiding Citizen star Gerard Butler, but she apparently just can’t get enough of John Mayer.

The couple – who started dating around April 2008 – has split up twice, most recently in March 2009. A source close to Jen told Star Magazine the break was due to Mayer’s Twitter addiction. “John suddenly stopped calling her or returning her emails and when she would finally catch up with him, he’d say: ‘I’ve been so busy with work. I’m sorry I haven’t had time to call you back’. Jen was fuming. There he was, telling her he didn’t have time for her and yet his page was filled with Twitter updates.”

Currently Mayer’s Twitter is all aflutter dispelling rumors that he kissed a guy at a gay club in California: “Rumor check,” Mayer tweeted. “Went to gay bar in Palm Springs, yes. Had a blast. Danced my face off. Someone there planted a kiss on me? No.”

But, sources say he may have been planting kisses on Aniston. The couple reportedly met up at the Four Seasons Hotel in NYC in September and had dinner with Aniston’s former Friends co-star and celeb couple, David Arquette and Courteney Cox, according to Us Magazine

Whether the romance is real or not, Aniston hasn’t said. But, in an interview with People, she did confront rumors that parts of her weren’t real.

When asked about having had a nose job and breast augmentation, Aniston said, “It’s funny. I had [a deviated septum] fixed – best thing I ever did. I slept like a baby for the first time in years. As far as all the other [rumors], as boring as it sounds, it’s still mine. All of it. Still mine. Short of letting everybody have a feel, I don’t know what else to do. I really am pretty happy with what God gave me.”

Friends of the couple aren’t commenting other than to confirm the two are still close friends. “They are very close. They remain great friends. He thinks she’s amazing, nice and smart, and he has nothing but respect for her,” a friend of Mayer’s told Us.

Sandra Bullock and Bradley Cooper get together in their new romantic comedy All About Steve, which throws in all the tried-and-true elements: a road trip, opposites who attract and crossword puzzles.

Bullock plays a crossword puzzle constructor who falls in love with news cameraman Cooper and follows him around the country, hoping to win him over. It wouldn’t be quite right to lump this flick in with Bullock’s other romantic comedies, since she’s usually the one being pursued. But, the 45-year-old actress looks as pursuable as ever. She manages to look about 10 years younger, and true to Hollywood’s reputation, there is speculation that she has paid a visit to a plastic surgeon. But, forget about something as serious as a face lift. Judging by recent pictures, Botox Cosmetic comes to mind.

“It is possible Sandra Bullock has had Botox,” Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Paul Nassif commented recently on MakeMeHeal.com. “Her forehead and frown lines are smooth; her medial eyebrow is low and this is possibly due to forehead Botox.”

Wrinkles and lines in these facial areas become more apparent as women enter their forties – and neurotoxins like Botox, or dermal fillers like Juvederm and Restylane, can help minimize their appearance.

But, if Bullock has used Botox in an attempt to hold up her wrinkles, she likely has left other areas alone, since she has a positive outlook on cellulite.

“We all have cellulite,” she told InStyle. “So do supermodels! I’ve been to the shows and I go, ‘Stick figure has some cellulite!’ It’s nature. Without it, you’re not human.”
