Courtney Love has a new trouble to add to her share: custody loss of Frances Bean Cobain, her 17-year-old daughter with the deceased Kurt Cobain. The girl’s current legal guardians are Wendy O’Connor and Kimberly Dawn Cobain, mother and sister of the late Nirvana front man. A court hearing is set for February 10. Geraldine Wyle, legal counsel to the guardians, told CNN the situation is a “private family matter.”

Why Love lost custody isn’t presently known, though it’s happened before. O’Connor gained temporary custody in 2003 when Love hauled herself into a whole heap of trouble – reportedly threatening suicide, overdosing on painkillers and trying to break into the home of an ex-boyfriend. It wasn’t until 2005 when Love got her daughter back.

Frances Bean Cobain, now nearly an adult herself, has gone on record to distance herself from her troubled parents, or at least their troubled conduct. But her mother’s problems remain a constant media draw, pulling the immediate family into the fray.

“These people are fascinated by me, but I haven’t done anything,” Frances Bean Cobain told Harper’s Bazaar in 2008. “If you’re a big Nirvana fan, a big Hole fan, then I understand why you would want to get to know me, but I’m not my parents.”

Courtney Love, now 45, has a long history of rumor-producing behavior, including some questionable cosmetic surgery procedures. Love has had breast implants, collagen and lip injections and several bouts of rhinoplasty – enough touching up for her to publicly swear off plastic surgery, which she did earlier in 2009.

She also endured rumors of weight loss surgery, but she later admitted that her dramatic weight loss was actually tied to an eating disorder.

As the custody loss reasons remain confidential, it’s not clear whether any of this had any bearing on her daughter’s guardianship. But for fans to continue enjoying her talent, Courtney will have to embrace a healthy attitude and lifestyle for her own sake, as much as her daughter’s.

Singer Justin Timberlake and actress Jessica Biel may or may not be a current item in Hollywood. But, confirming if they are on or off it is quite difficult.

Reports caused Internet chaos when it was published that Biel and Timberlake had called it quits.

The NY Daily News recently reported that the SexyBack boy toy was spotted canoodling with an unknown woman at a Manhattan club by none other than tabloid target Lindsay Lohan.

Amidst the rumors, another article stated quite the opposite – according to People, the long-term couple is definitely “still on.” The site also wrote that multiple sources indicated that Biel and Timberlake had not broken up.

The rumors sparked when the two love-birds had to spend the summer apart. Timberlake was in Europe promoting his new cologne, while Biel was in the states where she starred in Guys and Dolls in Los Angeles.

Biel may be in the headlines for couple trouble, but she has also made news after some rumored facial cosmetic procedures. Dr. Anthony Youn wrote in his celeb plastic surgery blog that Jessica has probably undergone multiple facial touch-ups, such as a rhinoplasty and lip augmentation.

“Jessica Biel does appear to have had some lip injections, possibly with Restylane or collagen,” he wrote in his blog. “While her real lips do appear fuller than the average female’s lips, they appear to be enhanced.”
