Adult film star Jenna Jameson explained to Oprah Winfrey that for six years of her career, all onscreen encounters with males actually only involved one – husband Jay Grdina, who performed under the name Justin Sterling. She mentioned this detail on Oprah’s “Porn and Erotica”-themed episode to make the point that not all adult stars perform with multiple partners, all the time.

“They think, ‘She’s had thousands of partners – she’s a slut, she’s a whore,’ all these things,” Jameson said. “But in actuality, I had sex with my husband most of the time and I think that’s why my movies sell so well. Because they can ‘see’ love.”

Jameson is no longer married to Grdina, so she presumably isn’t performing with him these days. But, their divorce is just one transition Jameson has experienced in the past few years.

In 2004 she was diagnosed with skin cancer while pregnant. Surgery removed the cancer, but shortly after her diagnosis, she suffered a miscarriage. She finally became a mother – having twins in March 2009 with mixed martial artist Tito Ortiz.

Plastic surgery has also been a considerable factor. Aside from two breast augmentations, MakeMeHeal.com also reported that Jameson underwent a vaginoplasty in 2007 for cosmetic reasons. She was said to be unhappy with the results – and had corrective surgery later.

This interrupted her negotiations with movie executives who wanted to adapt her autobiography “How to Make Love Like a Porn Star” for the screen, and the project remains stalled.

A 43-year-old woman in England has received a cash settlement after undergoing three plastic surgeries on her face — each one more damaging than the last.

The London Daily Mail and Fox News dot com reported that the suffering of Beverley Binks began when she consulted Transform Medical Group in Newcastle in March 2005 for an eye and jaw lift. The surgery was a bust – her facial skin was overly tightened when too much fat was removed from underneath one of her eyes. This left Binks with a distorted face, which she was then advised to correct through a second and ultimately a third surgery – both of which did more damage.

The cosmetic surgery fiasco came to a head in 2006, when Binks was finally left with improper symmetry in her face that also made her ears droop. In her own words, she has been left with a “butchered” face.

Binks has not sought further corrective surgery and says her appearance has affected her livelihood and prevents her from even wanting to leave her home. She has said that people stare at her in public and she has even been asked at random if she suffered a stroke. Her 25-year marriage nearly ended as a result of the ordeal, and Binks has admitted to feeling suicidal.

Binks recently was awarded an undisclosed sum in a settlement with the doctors who performed the three botched surgeries on her face. Transform Medical Group, citing a confidentiality agreement, has insisted that legally, the case resides between Binks and the two surgeons, not the group itself.
