Tara Reid has been engaged before but is set for marriage once again, and this time with someone else. What did he do that made the crowd cheer?
Starlet Tara Reid makes her living in the movies. And her real-life engagement to boyfriend Michael Axtmann, which was January 18 in a Los Angeles restaurant, unfolded more or less like a scene in one of them.
“Michael surprised Tara with a beautiful, round, brilliant cut ring,” Reid’s representative recently told People magazine.”Tara was so happy, and the other patrons clapped and yelled out, ‘Congratulations.’”
A wedding date isn’t set. The engagement follows the one she had with late-night TV host Carson Daly, some ten years ago. And it occurs on the heels of her recent appearance in Playboy magazine, where she bares as much as that publication allows, in spite of once saying she’d never pose nude.
Reid made that claim because she had undergone plastic surgery that didn’t agree with her – a botched liposuction procedure that created “battle wounds” of stomach ripples and wrinkles. She has also had breast augmentation. But in spite of all those efforts to improve herself, Reid seemed to feel the results were nothing worth posing about.
She changed her mind but reportedly felt insecure about appearing in Playboy right up to the moment she finally stood in front of cameras. From there, she went with it, creating results that are currently on magazine stands.
Although her previous experience with lipo was negative, with an upcoming wedding, Tara may get on the plastic-surgery-for-brides bandwagon.
