Tennis star Simona Halep, 17, plans breast reduction surgery to improve her game.
In the ultra-competitive world of women’s tennis, the thin, muscular, and tomboyish figure is by far the norm. Up and coming amateur Simona Halep is thin and muscular, but there’s nothing tomboyish about her.

The 17-year-old Romanian phenom captured the junior women’s title on the clay at Roland Garros this year with her devastating double backhand, and has captured the hearts of male tennis fans around the world with her spectacular figure.
Although she isn’t officially on the WTA Tour yet, Halep has skyrocketed to fame in the past few months, primarily due to a series of eye-catching photos.
Yet despite her superb singles play at the French Open this year, Halep believes her 34DD breasts are hampering her career, and has scheduled a breast reduction operation for the fall.
“The breasts make me uncomfortable when I play,” she told one reporter. “It’s the weight that troubles me – my ability to react quickly.”
Should Halep go ahead with the surgery later this year, it’s likely that she could join the women’s tour next spring with no side effects from the procedure.
Although Halep’s decision may be a disappointment to millions of male fans, it’s certainly true that a trimmer chest will give her a better shot at a place on the world tour. We at the Plastic Surgery Channel wish her the very best in her pursuit of her dream.

this is a shame, i hope she doesn’t get rid of them, it would hurt her popularity and reduce her endorsement earnings because men would not be as interested, and if not for hot girls like her i can’t imagine a single reason for men watching women’s tennis, it’s the beautiful girls that make women’s tennis so popular, i know i watch it for that reason
