No Spin Live Episode 57 – Teen Plastic Surgery, Tummy Tucks, and Madonna’s Behind

No Spin Live host Dr. Jason Pozner welcomes board certified plastic surgeons Dr. Adam Hamawy of Princeton, New Jersey, Dr. Peter B. Fodor of Beverly Hills, and Dr. Dan Del Vecchio of Boston to discuss the latest in plastic surgery news.

In this episode, the experts dive back into the ethics of plastic surgery performed on teenagers. While certainly there are arguments why allowing appearance-altering procedures in teens is in poor taste, there are also numerous cases where not only is it ethical, but perhaps life-changing. It really just depends on the situation.

The experts move on to discuss a marathon runner’s recent interest in her stretched abdominal muscles from childbirth, bringing attention to a condition that cannot be fixed without surgery. On the flip-side of surgery, Madonna appeared in a recent picture to have underwent a buttock enhancement via hylauronic acid injections, commonly called facial fillers. The NSL panel discusses this trend in buttock augmentation, noting how a growing number of celebrities are willing to spend significantly more on filler-only injections into their buttocks over fat grafting surgery.
