Women Plastic Surgeons

Women Plastic Surgeons

The Plastic Surgery Channel would like to honor Women Plastic Surgeons and the skills and leadership they bring to the field of plastic surgery.

This year, the WPS Forum is meeting in San Diego during the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) meeting Oct. 10-15, 2013. The Forum seeks to empower female plastic surgeons through networking, education, and mentoring. The Forum also works to promote women plastic surgeons and increase their involvement within organized medicine and plastic surgery as a whole.

Out of the more than 8,000 board certified plastic surgeons across the country, just over 850 are women. That’s just one in nine.  Those numbers are slowing changing because in part because of groups like Women Plastic Surgeons.  PSC understands the importance of women being recognized for their expertise in medicine.  Our multi-media platforms help women plastic surgeons expand thier reach and influence in a competitive market place.
